Serial animowany produkowany w latach 1973-1985 przy współpracy wytwórni Hanna-Barbera oraz National Periodical Publications. Serial zadebiutował 8 września 1973 roku w stacji ABC. Tytuł, w miarę kolejnych sezonów, ewoluował. Odcinki pierwszej i drugiej serii trwały 60 minut, w pozostałych zostały zredukowane do 30 minut. Regularnymi postaciami byli Superman, Batman, Robin, Wonder Woman oraz Aquaman. Przez 10 sezonów oprócz wymienionej piątki przewinęła się cała galeria postaci zaczerpniętych z komiksów o Lidze Sprawiedliwości.
